Eligibility for PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarships:
In order to be eligible for this scholarship student must- Student must be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college or university.
- Student must be a member of one of the following minority groups: African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Alaskan Native, Asian, or Pacific Islander.
- Student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Must have attained junior status or higher by the and have a minimum of one full term remaining by the start of the fall term following application.
- Preference is given to those majoring or minoring in public relations. A student attending a school that does not offer a public relations degree or program Student must be enrolled in a communications degree program, such as journalism or mass communications.
How to apply for the PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarships:
The Actuarial Foundation’s application mode is via Online.In addition to the completed application:
- Students must submit an official transcript of courses completed;
- A brief letter of recommendation from a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) member or an individual associated with public relations or higher education;
- A typed, double-spaced essay (no more than three pages in length) on the topic listed on the application; and a statement of financial status.
- All applications and supporting materials must be submitted online by the deadline date.
It is important that your application form is fully and accurately completed.
