Page Education Foundation is asking application for Page Education Foundation Scholarship. If you are an African American Student then you can apply for this Scholarship. You will get up to $2500 from Page Education Foundation Scholarship. From $1,000 to $2,500 per school year depending on school expenses and individual need. Renewal is based on the student maintaining full-time enrollment, satisfactory progress in school and completing the service-to-children requirement. The applicant must reapply for his/her award at the start of every academic year. Payments are made directly to the school.
Eligibility for Page Education Foundation Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship student must
- · Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
- · Must be a resident of Minnesota.
- · Must be a student of color. For the purposes of this award, a student of color is one of the following: African American, Asian American, Hispanic American or Native American.
- · Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- · Must be graduating or have graduated from a high school in Minnesota.
- · Must plan to attend an accredited public or private college, university, technical, or vocational school in Minnesota.
- · Must plan to enroll as a full-time student.
- · This award is for U.S. students.
How to apply for the Page Education Foundation Scholarship:
The Page Education Foundation’s application mode is via Online. It is important that your application form is fully and accurately completed.
Applications are available online on the Page Education Foundation (PEF) website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant applying for a Page grant for the first time must submit the following materials: a 400- to 500-word essay addressing the three topic areas listed on the website; two letters of recommendation, one from a current teacher and the other from a non-relative who can provide information on his/her background and civic participation; a recent school transcript; and a copy of his/her parents' federal tax return from last year OR a copy of the report from the student's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. The completed application and supporting materials must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.
